This guide will explain how to associate the xijet drivers correctly in windows. Usually this is a necessary procedure when initially connecting the Xijet printheads to a new computer.

Before starting, ensure that the most current xijet printer software has been installed and that the printhead is plugged in and powered on.

Open the setup wizard and see if the printheads connected are being detected.

If you get the number 0, the driver is most likely not installed correctly.

Open the windows device manager.

This can be done quickly by opening devmgmt.msc using the windows run dialog box (which can be quickly accessed with the shortcut “windows key + R”)

Once the device manager is open, try and locate the xijet printhead. In most cases, it should have a yellow triangle next to it and is usually found under “other devices”:

Right click on the inkjet device and click the option “update driver”

Next, click the button “browse my computer for driver software

Next, navigate the search dialog box to the xijet install directory drivers folder. By default, this directory is usually as follows: C:\XiJet\Drivers

Ensure the “include subfolders” check box is checked and click next:

A dialog box may come up warning that this driver is not digitally signed - this is nothing to be concerned about. Click the option to Install this driver software anyway

After installation, the driver should come up without the yellow triangle - at this point you can press the search again button in the xijet control panel to see if the xijet printer is detected
